| The purpose of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) is to create meaningful volunteer opportunities for senior citizens of retirement age to serve their communities through various volunteer duties in Love and Marshall Counties. |

| The objective of this program is to maintain stations within the service area which supervises, trains, supports, and recognizes the volunteers will have a written position description before initial placement which outlines the volunteer assignments and responsibilities as well as those of the assigned work places; and to develop volunteer opportunities and the initiative areas as well as maintain ongoing activities in the areas of child abuse/neglect, substance abuse, literacy, teen-pregnancy and services to the blind, visually impaired, emotionally and physically impaired, care for terminally ill, crime prevention, in-home care, management assistance and consumer education. |
