Request for Price Quotations for Audit Services
Big Five Community Services, Inc. is seeking price quotations to conduct the Program Specific WIA A-133 Audit of Workforce Dynamics, Inc. operations for July 1, 2011 to July 31, 2012. 
This is an OMB Circular A-133 audit of multiple grants and contracts issued to Workforce Dynamics, Inc. Specifications and price quotation/qualifications forms for each of the goods/services may be found at www.ecwib.org or by contacting the Big Five Community Services, Inc. offices by email to lstaggs@bigfive.org.  Specifications may be obtained at any time, but price quotations must be received at the Big Five Community Services, Inc. offices not later than Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at 12:00 P.M.

Family Caregiver

It's O.K. to ask for help...


Purpose

Big Five Community Services sponsors the Family Caregiver Support Program to provide information and services for persons caring for a family member or loved one with a disability or special health care need.

Description

You are a Caregiver if you are:

  • taking care of household and financial tasks for yourself and a loved one
  • taking care of the personal needs of your loved one such as bathing, laundry, meals and toileting or dressing
  • seeking services and information or needing someone to stay with your loved one


Big Five can help with referrals, support groups, respite and assistance with obtaining transportation, home health, financial resources, training, counseling, eduction and other needs.  335 caregivers are involved with the Big Five Family Caregiver Support Program.  Program services are available in 10 counties: Atoka, Bryan, Carter, Coal, Garvin, Johnston, Love, Marshall, Murray and Pontotoc.

Respite is relief from caregiving and can provide:

  • time for yourself
  • time to take a break
  • time with other family members
  • time to participate in community activities


This time away can result in a reduction in stress on you and your family.  Our goal is to help you so that you may have the information and services you need to take care of your loved one.

Assistance Eligibility

  • caring for a loved one who is 60 years of age or older who relies on you for at least two activities of daily living needs

OR

  • a grandparent 55 or older caring for a grandchild under 18 years of age
