SORTS provides for all transit needs such as rides to work, school, shopping, medical appointments, dining or just visiting friends. SORTS vehicles meet ADA requirements with Wheel Chair accessible vans and buses available in all areas of service.  SORTS complies with all ADA requirements including operator assisted relay services for persons with hearing or speech impairments.

All our drivers are trained in safety, have background checks, pass random drug and alcohol testing, have clean driving records, and posses a valid CDL/and medical card with passenger endorsement. 

General hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. However, Sooner Ride and Work routes are scheduled outside our primary service hours including weekends and evenings.  Additional public transportation is also available outside traditional hours as required and all open to the public. 

Trips outside service area or beyond traditional service hours will include a fee of $1.35 per mile plus additional cost of $10.00 per hour if drive time exceeds one hour. An hourly cost may be used of $45.00 per hour or a combination of $1.35 per mile and/or $45.00 per hour depending on dead head miles and wait time.
